“ Such a great meal, and perhaps the best Negroni I’ve ever had in my many years and many bar of having Negronis. The bartender was even nice enough to deconstruct the whole thing so I could understand the unique flavor they created. Everything was also delicious except the wood fire trout that was so so. All the apps, and the focaccia was delicious tho! ”
“ Fantastic Italian restaurant in Hudson Yards. Ci Siamo is all parts Italian, with a modern unique spin. The wine list, too, is unique and full of interesting hidden gems. And when in doubt if you’re not sure, they have a Somm on hand who is super helpful. For the food, we cannot recommend the caramelized onion torta enough. It’s gooey, savory and sweet all in one. The focaccia is light and airy with a side of tomato conserva (like a tomato paste), and great for dipping in the sauces of other dishes. Gnocco fritto with ghost cheese are large crispy pillows - not much to them and can be skipped for better options. The summer beans were blistered green beans in this amazing sauce. Yes, they’re a side. Yes, get them. Same goes for the smoked carrots. I don’t like cooked carrots and these were to die for. For pastas, the rigatoni alla gricia is AMAZING - the guanciale is perfectly crispy, and perfectly cuts through the cacio e pepe like sauce. If you want to go more decadent, the stracci (think wide like lasagna but thin and flat) with rabbit and Parmesan is *chef’s kiss*. The grilled ribeye was interesting to be covered in marinated peppers but brought a good flavor. It was rough to leave so much of the dish beyond that was just pure fat. All in all would come back and try the other many dishes and throw some cocktails into the mix. ”
“ My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Ci Siamo. I've lived here for about 2 years and it may just be the best meal I have had in the city. The drinks were great and paired very well with the food. Our waitress Rebecca had great recommendations, the perfect blend of knowing when we needed something, and when we wanted to enjoy the meal. “ The Onion Tart is a MUST GET! It’s a like a savory french onion soup pie: cheesy, sweet from the caramelized onions and has a buttery flaky crust. Their cocktails and DESSERTS were also phenomenal. We got the basque cheesecake that was incredibly creamy and smooth and was served with dried apricots and this crunchy crumble. The perfect mixture of fruity sweet flavors and interesting textures. We also got their gem salad (light, refreshing) and their pork milanese (though we must come back to try their pastas!). ”
“ We visited Ci siamo a few days ago and really enjoyed it! The place itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and very interesting,everything we tried was full of flavor. The only downside is that the main dishes took a bit longer to arrive, so if you’re in a rush, keep that in mind. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great meal. We’ll definitely be back ”
